Choosing Edge has several advantages, but our unique feature truly sets the platform apart. In the event of a big, unmatched bet, our platform steps in to match what is possible in-house. The remaining stake is then spread across our network of bookmakers, taking the pressure off you.

Unlike traditional sportsbook pages or agents, Edge doesn’t close winning accounts, or restrict players. This is exactly the purpose of working with a large network of other bookies, to create a unique proposition for those who don’t enjoy conventional bookmaking. Edge will combine this supreme betting limits strategy with a technology that can accommodate thousands of bets simultaneously, almost immediately after they have been placed at the front end. It’s a great betting environment, and thousands of customers have enjoyed its services already.

Placing a bet

There are plenty of betting options across the Edge platform. Across the top of the screen on a desktop, you can find your sports betting options, and down the left-hand side of the screen, you can find the competitions available in your chosen sport. This is broken down into three sections:

  • In Running – Here you will find everything that is currently in-play and available to bet on.
  • Today – The rundown of the games taking place later that day
  • Early – The games taking place in the future, from the next day, up to two weeks in advance.

At the top of the screen, you can also toggle the markets that you want to find odds for or bet on.

To place a bet, select the market you wish to bet on and you will see a pop-up menu appear with a range of odds for your chosen market, from the various exchanges and bookmakers available. At the top of the Bet-Slip you will find the stake box where you can insert your stake amount, and on the right side is the minimum odds box for your order. You can insert the odds either by clicking on any of the odds on the screen that you want to place, or by inserting the odds manually. Once you insert your stake and preferred minimum odds, just press the place button to the right of the odds box.

As both bookmakers and exchanges are available on Edge, you also have the option to enable the ‘Exchange’ view to ‘Lay’ options as well as odds for traditional ‘back’ bets. This means you can ‘Back’ an outcome, such as x to win, or ‘Lay’ a bet which means to back something not to happen (in this example to ‘Lay’ X would be backing either a draw or X to lose.

You can also place accumulator or parlay bets by selecting the menu in the top left of the window. As before, you can select the markets you wish to bet on, and it will build your bet for you. To place an accumulator, you must select at least three markets. Any selections that you wish to delete – whether on an accumulator or a single bet – you can press the ‘trash’ icon at the top right corner of each selection. Once you are happy with the selections, you can review the odds, enter your stake and select ‘Place Accumulator.’

To review the recent bets that you’ve requested to place, you can click the ‘orders’ tab at the top of the screen, or at the bottom of the screen on the Trade page. Your orders will be grouped by event here, and you can use this page to monitor your positions.

Using the Future Placement option

Future placement is an option available for bettors to place a bet at odds not currently available on the market. By this placement, Edge will set your anticipated order as pending before monitoring the market and tracking if it reaches the requested price. Once this market is available, the platform will place the order for you automatically.

To make a future placement order, you can select the time under timeout, up to 72 hours, at placement time. You should select the amount of time that you want the algorithm to keep track of the market movement. The order will either be matched during that time, or it will expire. Everything in this option is done automatically, however you are able to cancel the request in the Orders tab.

Finding out your account information

For a detailed analysis of your betting history, navigate to the “Accounting” section. Access it by hovering over your username in the top right corner and selecting “Accounting.” This section offers extensive details, including post-profit/loss adjustments to your balance.

To gain a broader perspective of your betting activity, you can go through the “Analytics” section, which presents a comprehensive table view of your data. This table allows sorting, filtering, and even visualization of your data plotted against specific periods of time. Additionally, you can add and sort columns in ascending or descending order for a customized view.

What do I do if I forget my password?

Should you happen to forget your password, you can reach out to our support team, who will be happy to help you regain access to the account. If you remember your password but want or need to change it, go to the top right corner select ‘Account’, and then click on reset password. You can then enter your current password and your new one.
